    16x7 BBS RKs or 15x7 Kosei K1s???

I have this dilemma. Debacle. whatever you call it.

I seriously have been tossing this around in me brain for a long time now, and have come to the point where i want some third (or second) party input.

I really can't decide if i would rather have 16x7 BBS RKs on my 318is, or 15x7 Kosei K1s. The BBS wheels will require custom hubcentric spacers, which i will machine for pretty cheap (~$70) myself, and the Koseis will be direct fit. It is also an important note that i have recently been addicted to autocross.

So please, some useful input from you experienced guys would be swell. Are there significant handling differences? It is also a note that i have H&R Race springs and Billy Sports.

I have also found out that the RKs are 15.3 lbs each and the K1s are 13.5 lbs each. Is this a significant difference? as in noticeable?

    Thanks guys!

I have Rks on my car right now, I reallylike them, the sticky R comps make it more fun too.

K1's. Lighter, look better, 15" tires are cheaper, no spacers needed, and are cheaper. I don't see any reason to get the other.

points well taken. they are lighter, tires are cheaper, and no weird spacers required.

The only points i see at least for the RKs are that i think they look a little better due to the design and the fact that they are 16s and not 15s.

Then that raises the issue of course is what looks better on a lowered E30, 15s or 16s.

The answer to that question is 17s.

for some reason i dont like RKs on e30s. they used to be my "dream wheels" when i was 16, but that was for some japanese cars not an e30.

the kosei's arent pretty either, but i actually like them more than the RKs.

but its your opinion that matters, not mine.

it IS my opinion that matters!! ;)

But it is always good to get other E30 enthusiasts' input to help old insecure me to come up with a decision.
