    M-Systems + Big Brakes?

I was planning of going with an e30 m3 5-lug conversion and converting the Porsche brakes in my sig. I really would like fit staggered, forged M-system wheels over them but I dont know how much clearance they have.

    SO summing it up..
    e30 m3 5-lug
Very much rolled and a little stretched non-m fenders
Porsche 993turbo calipers front and rear
    forged M-systems 17x8et20 front 17x9et22 rear
I have seen 10mm spacers used with these too if that helps

    can it be done?

Shouldn't be that bad. I remember Mtriple ran didn't like the fitment of the 17x9 et26 Style 5's (M-system 17x9 are the same offset), but I can't recall the tire size.

What size tires do you plan on running?

I don't see a problem other than maybe if the porsche calipers will clear the inside of the wheels. As far as the fenders go, all you should need to do is roll them flat. I doubt you will have to flare them at all.

I am fixing to send off some staggered style 66's (17x8 et20 & 17x9 et26) and already have test fitted them with no issues. I do have rolled flat fender lips.

"M system"? What wheels are they? If you are thinking of the BBS Style 5, then be aware they don't even clear stock e30 M3 calipers. You must remove the pad clip or use thin spacers. So, don't hope to instal thicker rotors and wide calipers.

Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

they are not style 5's, they are the wheels that the turbine and throwing star covers are used with.

they are the wheels used with the turbines. It looks like pretty good caliper spacing but i cant tell from pics. I had trouble with my BBS Rx but they have terrible space for big calipers. Lee I have got to talk to you about a brake setup for this car...

P.S. I know wheel fitment isnt an issue... they will fit. I am more concerened with is the calipers with fit under them. how close is the fit?
