Sticky street tire for daily driver

Currently running azenis on b=caps but going to 15's
I have been looking at the hancook rs-3 225/45-15--$125 or the kumho xs 205/50-15--$89 or the azenis again $81. This is a dual purpose dail that i will be driving rain or shine and i have been running azenis for two years so im used to the love of hydroplaning. The car is on ground conrtols 450f 700r what would yal think to be my best option here. I feel like the hancook due to its size and compound would give more grip as opposed to the xs, but grassroots motorsports had the xs as the fastest though the rs-3 was not involved. The x6 is also $35 cheaper a tire. So what do yal think?

    Thanks as allways Zach buchko:-D

    Edit below:
    anybody have opinions between the 205/50-15 xs and the 225/45-15 rs-3 205/50-15 re-11, 205/50-15 r1r, for a daily still?
These will be going on 15x7 et22 wheels again on 450 700 ground controls with 22-16mm sways.....I am having a hard time deciding here...

Thanks for the GRM tip, I didn't know that test was done yet.

6th - Falken RT 615 Mean time: 35.302 sec. Quick time 35.125 sec.
5th - Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec Mean time: 35.209 sec. Quick time 35.061 sec.
4th -Toyo Proxes R1R Mean time: 34.522 sec Quick Time 34.452 sec
3rd- Bridgestone RE-01R Mean time: 34.478 sec. Quick Time 34.430 sec.
2nd- Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 Mean time: 34.266 sec. Quick time 34.238 sec.
1st - Kumho ECSTA XS Mean time: 34.170 sec. Quick Time 34.030 sec.

XS all the freakin way. And to think that the RT-615 was the winner last time around, just 2 years back IIRC. Damn.

Do you like them? How about tire life and rain driveability?

I wish they'd test some of the other tires that aren't available in those small sizes.

The 595-RS, NT-05, Neova AD08........and compare them to the other tires in the same size so it would be apples to apples.

            I want a 235/245 40/17 test!

Obviously. I'm amazed at tire evolution, not pointing out any inconsistency in the testing.

They already did the 595RS in a previous test. It came last.

And the last test was 235/40/17 on a heavy Saab, so I'm kind of happy they switched it up.

I've got those Hankook R-S3's in that size on my E30. Just spent a few days at the track (Mosport and Sanair). They grip much, much better than the RT-615's. They hardly squeal at all (the Falkens were LOUD). Unlike the RT-615's, they don't get greasy after 15 minutes. I was running 30 minute sessions on a hot day and the R-S3's never got greasy at all.

Transient response wasn't as good as the Falkens, however. I suspect the RT-615 has stiffer sidewalls.

                        Overall, a great performer.

personally i love the BFG G-Force Sports. they kick some serious ass and have been hold up well. they are very temperture sensative, i keep a lower pressure during regular use as to prolong their life. great tires all round, i love them. very predictable as well
