    Easy Question/Explanation?

Hi all, been looking for new tires for my set of VW bbs RA's which are 15x6, ET35. They currently have 195x15x50 on them which have been proving a little, and i stress little, difficult to find locally. But my question is, what other size tires might i be able to run effectively and which aspects come into play when choosing the correct size ?

    TIA!

195/55-15, 205/50-15, 205/55-15? not sure which of those exist either, though.

Just FWIW, 205 50 15's are very small. I have them on my RA's and tried test fitting them on my e30 because I need new tires in the back, and theyre not getting changed till Monday after work. They won't even work for me, the cabby has H&R Race already, so its pretty damn low and my bavauto headers have bottomed out on speed bumps quite a lot already. Find something bigger, 195/65-14 is 11.99" radius, 195 60 14 is 11.60, 4/10" drop, then a 195 50 15 is 11.33", the sidewall and height of the tire under stock will lower the car 2/3 of an inch. They'll probably work, but I'd suggest trying to find something maybe a little wider and taller to compare at least closer to an original size. 205/55-15 would be really close, 11.93".

If I put my RA's on my e30, i'll definately be switching to 205 55's
