I counted 20 spokes on the pic above, and the dish looks like the real thing (Kopis have 19 flat spokes, I think). He should be able to get one new one with the hubcap for about 3-4 times what he pays for these. The info under the centre cap is what will tell the full story.

Give the guy the money for the 3, with a suitable discount, and tell him he can have the rest when he finds the 4th wheel.

Yes I 10000% guarantee that they are the real deal my man. I would drive up to the guys house and camp out in front till the morning and nock on his door at 6am and throw down the 2 bills.

They are in the back of my car as we speak...I decided to make a weekend with my wife and daughter out of the trip to pick them up. I will post some pics when I get back..look like the real deal to me. Somebody has drilled an extra set of lug holes in them...presumably 4x108..it says Alpina nowhere on them but they are 16" twenty spoke wheels..I think the Alpina got ground off when the extra set of holes was drilled....They are WIDE!! I am thinking 16x8 but not sure on that one yet I can stretch my hand out across the tire and there is still a few inches of tire past my fingers..Also there are no locks on the center caps, there is some sort of funky screw holding the center caps on, . The rims themselves are in great shape no curbage, nice paint,

Edit: I ended up only getting the three wheels, I paid $150 and promised to pay another $150 if the fourth showed up.

There is something near the lip of the each rim, a number/letter code or something, not really sure what it is.

Further inspection....One of the wheels seems to have all of its original markings..it says et28 (offset) RG (where one would think to see Alpina) 7JX16H2 (size and some other junk?) TYP:RG8-046 (I assume type..Manufacturer??)

The center caps are flat and don't have the tabs on one side/lock on the other, there appears to have never been any locks on them, there is also no place for the lock lever to secure itself to the rim if there was one..or a place on the rim for the tabs to go..the center caps are held on by a screw cap that looks just like the lock cover except screws into a post embedded in the rim

                              I dunno..might be knockoffs yet......

Oh!! and the most disturbing (except the fact I only have three of them and I don't know what to do with them..lol....the center bore is more like 2.5 than 2.25 inches......

What the hell is going on here???
