    17"/18" wheels?

Can I put 17"/18" wheels on my 1987 bimmer? And if so, where can I find them? Any input would be greatly appreciated. I am a new bimmer owner have only had this car for 2 weeks.

              As do I.

17s look great, but you have to drop the car first. Alot.

Yes I hear you all, like I said i've only had her for 2 weeks. I will lower her first. Thank you for the input. But no one has still answered my question. I have read through some of the threads and have no idea what I need to look for? This is my first time owning a foreign auto so I have a lot to learn.

You could buy 17" (I would not go with 18's) wheels anywhere you like.
In your area Hibdon's or whoever will have 4x100 wheels that fit.

But having said that.......most local tire/wheels shops will try to sell you into High offset wheels that are meant for FWD cars that share our same 4x100 pattern.
The higher offset wheels look like ass on our cars as they are sunken into the body too much.

So you need to look for wheels with an offset that is less that +30.

Apex arc-8 wheels would look pretty sweet. I think PaintPro21 posts here? If not, there is a thread on bf.c:
