Well I'm going flares either way, and I just found that they make toyo proxes t1-r tires in 245/35/16!!!

I'll space the 9's out to fit the rx-7/corrado brake kit. ;)

No one makes a decent tire in that size. It's either 245/35 or 245/45. The 245/45 looks too balloon like for my taste. The 245/35 will be almost identical to the fitment of 215/40 on a 9' wheel, and fit nicely on a 7.5.

I would probably go for the 7.5s, just because the extra inch of dish will not be worth the hassle for fitment. Plus, 245/35 looks really nice on a 7.5" wheel.
