Hai! You may have seen my thread about the wheel situation...if someone can sell me some wheels n tires decent looking for under 400 and or can point me in the direction of some I will appreciate it
PREFERABLY not bent...
Why in the F is it so hard to find nice-looking 15s in 4x100?

I apologize, did nto read all the replys, no time
I need new tires and have 2 bent 14" basket weaves, so I am looking at options too if I can do it on the cheap
I too am looking for 15's here is what I have found so far
what seems to be a fix is bbs for a vw late model 4 lug, saw a set with tires for 300.dont know if they have the correct offset, but pattern is right, look like bmw weaves except say bbs on center cap
guess you could cover it with a bmw sticker
also have been able to come across a set of series 5 basket weaves,(15") 5 bolt, but can be filled and redrilled. ( ive been told) this may be the option I take, as I cant afford the 5 lug conversion right now
the sereis 5 were 200 for the set, and was told it was 50 each to fill and redrill
thats cheaper then finding 15 inch 4 bolt "euro" weavesLeave a comment:

Agreed- though some choose to call them "clean" as opposed to "bland."
Okay...
Better? :mrgreen:Clearly, you have a fascination with shit. Perhaps you are interesting in pushing it 4" up a man's ass in your free time? If so, you could probably advertise your services on Morgantown CL, make some roses, and buy some real mesh wheels for your E30?Leave a comment:

Like I said, I just did not anticipate it. I (really) figured that Honda/Acura guys might run a lower offset than their standard 38-40 in an attempt to widen the stance on Civics and Integras.
I was incorrect. I am not too proud to admit that I did not forsee the difficulty, despite having the same problem in my SpecV (with P10/11, S13/14, and a few random Honda/Mitsu platforms being the only other 4 on 114.3 vehicles).
Since 4x100 was standard Honda/Acura pattern, I thought that there might be some lower offsets available in smaller (15") diameters. As trends move toward 17" or larger wheels on those vehicles, i thought that 15"s would be easier to come by.
Again, I was incorrect.Leave a comment:

P10.Maybe a P10 or P11, but other Infiniti vehicles are 5 on 114.3. Most reputable manufacturers make wheels that are available in that bolt pattern.
While there are a lot of absolutely ugly wheels available, there are a lot of nice ones in that pattern as well.
If you were referring to P10s or P11s, then agreed- the selection sucks.
So you are aware that a model with an odd 4-lug has limited availability of wheels... yet are somehow completely amazed that the same is true for E30s?Leave a comment:

Indeed. MM-II aren't weak, they're heavy, cast aluminum, and bland.
Wow. That was quite an eloquent way to state, "no dude, that's you."Leave a comment:

The subzero and its ADR/RS limited counterparts have a really high failure rate due to thin double spokes that have 2 90* bends- one near the hub and one near the rim. People running them in 17" sizes have seen them crack at the bends. Also, the spokes don't provide much support for the rim of the wheels, which contributes do bending. They are relatively light, but not very strong.
Several different make/models of vehicles have reported these issues, and I don't even know if Rota still makes them.
I had a set while I waited for my RKs on my SpecV. They were fine for me, but IIRC, the guy who bought them broke one on a pothole.Leave a comment:

On these points, we will have to disagree.
While I appreciate your suggestions regarding a future vocation, I would not want to cut in on a market that you have clearly explored and rely heavily upon.Leave a comment:

Same here. But your assumption that I can't afford to buy wheels is not correct.
What?
Your ability to appraise the worth of another human being means nothing to me.
