    Michelin Pilot Sports at Wal-Mart?

We were at Wal-Mart today getting studded tires on my wife's 325i, and I noticed while walking through the automotive department that they now sell Michelin Pilot Sport tires, like this style here:

They are on sale right now, but I didn't check the price. Does anyone here have these tires, or know of anyone that does?

I have two friends, both w/E36 M3s that have them and love them.

Only complaint is that as they wear down they get NOISY.

"See, we're adding a little something to this month's sales contest. As you all know, first prize is a Cadillac Eldorado. Anyone wanna see second prize? Second prize is a set of steak knives. Third prize is you're fired."

Yeah, they're noisy as hell even when they're not worn, but otherwise a good tire.

By noisy do you mean growling and road noise, or chirping?

On my friend's E36, they just squealed like a pig everytime he pushed it into a turn (but they held very well). I've been in his car many times and even when the tires were worn, I didn't notice the road noise as much as say, a Dunlop or Yokohama tire.
