    Le Mans Mesh vs. Remember's

So I've decided with Christmas on the horizon, I'd start thinking about what I want and it's a nice new set of wheels :D

I really wanted a set of BBS RS's or LM's...buuuut after looking around at prices, they fell off the radar. So I started to look for companies that made replicas of these wheels and found the Le Mans Supermesh (LM copy) and the Remembers (RS copy).

Now I've been looking around for used sets of either but to no avail, but have found a site (jlbmotorsports.com) that sells both wheels.

The site offers the wheels made from both Konig and Maxxim (made by Konig).
The Konig version of the supermesh's are running for $449 for 16x7 shipped and the Maxxim Supermeshs are going for $550 shipped, same size.

Now both the Konig Remembers and Maxxim Remembers are going for $580+ 50 shipping.

So now I have 2 questions...

What wheel should I go for and what color? I'm leaning toward the gold Remember's with the polished lip in 16x7.

And is there any difference between Konig and Maxxim I should be aware of? I'm just confused as to why they are both offered here when they are virtually the same exact wheels.

    Thanks!

I though the remembers were an RS replica...

Anyways even though a lot of people will argue that the RS', or remembers, are getting overplayed, they are in my mind undoubtedly the best looking wheels for an E30.

So I vote remembers, and I don't really like mixing red and gold so I'd go with the basic silver.

Konig Remembers 16x7. Kinda sweet for the price. 205/50. Better with 205/45's I think.

        You're right, they are RS's reps, I don't know why I said RM's

But I think your right, they are a bit overplayed, but still...best looking e30 wheel.

I'd like to see some red e30's with either gold Remembers or gold RS's

Here are my Konig Remembers. Red and gold doesn't do it for me, so I went silver.

I kinda like the gold on red. Then again, I'm not sure how it would flow with the rest of my car. Are you running 215/45's?

Who knows, maybe I'll play around with that idea Luke, but with my old weaves. Maybe just run the red weaves with a plished lip in winter

BTW...I will finally be ready to put that exhaust on soon now that I have the money and the time, so should I shoot you a text sometime to see when you could do the tin snips on the rear valence for me?

Same, I leaning towards the gold or silver remembers right now.
