    D-FORCE 15X7 OR TR motorsports c1 15x8

I am not sure if I want to run 205/55 or 225/50. Does anybody have any advice or preference on the wheel sizes in general. I want the car to handle properly on the street and an occassional track day. I have stock suspension. Also, can either of these wheels handle an upgraded brake kit? Thanks.

I own both. You can fit a 225 on either wheel, however a 225 Hoosier will fit much better on the 15x8. I will agree that the D-Force look better but the TRMs dont look bad. Both wheels will fit the Massive Sport 300x21 kit, it does require a little bit of filing on the ends of the calipers but nothing major. Personally if I was going to get yet another set of 15's I would probably get another set of the TRMs since that would allow me to use wider rubber in the future if I ended up needing to.

I read in a previous thread that Massive says you can use a 3mm spacer. Is that legal in most track clubs? Are spacers totally safe and do you need new lugs?

Most tires in a 225 will be fine on a 7" rim, 225 Hoosiers (which are really like 245's) can be shoehorned on but it isn't ideal.

Spacers are both legal and safe, I have a personal rule of not running a spacer larger than 10mm. In addition to getting these wheels you should by some studs to replace your lug bolts. Makes wheel changes at the track easier/quicker and you don't have to worry about bolt lengths if you change spacers.

What's your point? you can fit them on a 15x6.5 too, but the 15x8 will be a better fit for a wider tire. It wouldnt make much difference on the street, but this is the track subforum.

I would buy an ugly 15x8 (I dont think the TR wheel is ugly though) over a pretty 15x7 any day.
