5 x 114.3 versus 5 x 100

crazy question but i have a set of fittipaldi polaris wheels.

they are 5 x 114.3

i have them for sale. a guy with a 2003 neon wants to buy them.

i looked up the bolt pattern and he has 5 x 100

he claims his car still will accept both.

Is this true?

My guess is not without re-drilling.

If he thinks it will accept both, sell them to him with a bill of sale stating no returns ever.

But he is a moron because unless the wheels are of a dual bolt pattern, they wont fit.
