style 19 vs style 5 bolts

anyone got a pic of a style 5 bolt that i could compare to my style 19 bolts ? or does anyone know if they ar the same ? i see a bunch of people running gold bolts on style 5's and id like to know what bolts they are running if they are thesame as style 19's.

People have been saying RS bolts work for style 5's. I havent tested this yet though.

i tried my RS bolts in it. the RS bolts are a much smaller diameter then the bolt holes on the style 19's.

i dont have a set of style 5's to test against. which is why i had to ask. i also have a set of 16" RS's and those bolts are far from fitting.

5 and 19 bolts are identical. I've heard people say they used regular RS bolts, definitely not ideal but in reality they're just holding them together, the bolt doesn't have to be perfectly sized for the hole, but like I said certainly not ideal. I thiiiink RS and RM (regular bbs) use 7mm shank, and style 5 uses 8. And obviously there's the knurled part of the bolt making them unique, but you can hold the head while tightening the nut on regular BBS hardware.

But to answer your question style 5 and 19 are identical. If people are running gold bolts its cuz they got them plated or powdercoated or painted. If you want to send me your bolts I can have my buddy sandblast them and powdercoat them gold for $100, PM if you want to talk about it.

just the answer i was looking for. like i said. the RS bolts are not close to the hole sizes, if thats what people are running then i will keep what i have.

                  PM'ing you
