    M30 tire question

I have stock 14" basketweave rims with 195 65 14 tires.. Is this the largest size tire that I can use on my 88 325is without rolling or flaring wheel wells?
    Thank you

205s will work as well. There aren't many tire choises in 14 size... they make 225 autocross tires iirc but the stock 14s are narrow and won't take full advantage of a wider tire.

plus it's not all about the reported "width" since almost no two tires of the same width measure the same, and the compound makes a bigger difference as well.

how wide you can go depends on your drop, suspension stiffness, wheel offset, tire. 225 is a popular size w/o having to do much rolling etc.
