    Help a noob out :D

I have made the mistake before so I am doing this to make sure. I found rims i want to put on my e30. they are 15X7 with a bolt pattern of 4X100 and a 40mm offset. Will i need spacers or anything to fit these of my car? Thanks in advance.

about 10mm maybe 15 and you'll be right.

but it will still fit right? just be tucked in a little. And under width, it says "7J". does that make a difference?

You need spacers or they will rub the front strut housings.

I recommend 25mm in the rear, and 20mm spacers up front. Or if you have the $, go bigger and get adapters.

7J just means the wheel is 7" wide

if his car is lowered he might need fender rolling to fit that. for just "making them fit", something like 10-15 is much easier.

yes. that is why you should buy wheels with a proper offset.

                    You may need hubrings too.

20-30 is desireable for a e30 (non ix)

i run 20mm spacers on my +40mm wheels.. looks like you've shopping at Hialeah Honda ..i'm in Miami.. let me know if you need any help ..

the best offsets for E30's depend on your wheel width, 8" or less you should go +18 to +30

if you hate the wheels, stock basketweaves look fine and can be had for $100-$200.
