Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.3 or TRmotorsport C1 for AW 318is?

I am getting a 318is shipped to me in a couple weeks, and I know I'm going to want to replace the wheels. It is Alpine White. I am going to lower it on either Ireland Engineering or H&R Race springs. I am thinking either the Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.3 or the TRmotorsport C1. They are both 15x7, the Team Dynamics weighs 13.2lbs and the TRmotorsport weighs 13.8lbs. I would get either one in silver to keep the look clean. I will probably run 205/55/15 Star Spec Z1 tires. If there's any reason I should run 195/55/15 please LMK. Which should I get? Input from people who have owned both? I alspo considered the LTW5 however it looks really small in all the pictures I've seen :(. Thanks for the input everyone!

The irregular spokes of the TRMs have always bugged me. I prefer the cleaner TDs. Plus, the TDs offer more clearance for a BBK. ;)
Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

Okay, so do the TRmotorsports not clear your BBK? I can't say thats something I'm going to do now but I'd want to leave the possibility open for next summer

Both wheels work with the Massive Sport kit. Personally I would get the TR's in 15x8 but if you are only using your car as a DD then the 7" rim is fine. Are you sure you can get the Star Specs in 205? When I got mine last year the only 15" size was 195.

Funny thing. On Tirerack it says Dunlop Z1 for 15" only 195/55/15 if you shop by tire, however when I added the TRMs to my cart and clicked shop for tires it listed Dunlop Z1 205/55/15 and said in stock.

I definitely like the Team Dynamics wheels better (look a lot better than the previous revisions with the light "dish"), but they don't come in 15x8... shame.

I think TRM are more period correct. Plus i like the concaved spokes. Only downside for me is the ugly centercaps

Yeah, I'm skeptical as to whether the pictured Pro Race 1.3 is actually the 15x7. I don't think the 15x7 would have a concave face like that. Looks more like a 16 or 17, but it's still 4-lug.

Looks like they've got a 17x9, I doubt that would be in 4-lug but it's possible I suppose.

Well I think I might go with the TRM. If the Team Dynamics are concave I think I'd like them less than the TRM. I'm concerned about the look of the spokes on the TRM, but I will save $50 on the wheels plus free mounting and balancing by tire rack, which save me another $100. Thanks for the input.

Look closer. The only Dunlop in 205/55 is the DZ101.

I have the 195 Z1's on 7" wheels, they look a little skinny but handle incredibly well.

I like my TRM C1s in 15X8. I think the concave looks good on the car.

Can't say they are my favorite... 15" always look a taad on the small side to me. I'd pop some 16"s on with the right or at least close too, right offset.
