Bad news for the Falken RT-615

Looks like the new Azenis Sport will NOT be shipping to NA in 225/50/15. Sucks for the Solo guys planning to dominate this season.

I have plenty of choices for my 17's though. :P

I think that is the first quarter releases. I thought the 225/50/15 was coming third quarter.

      Nope. Old Falken info:

I did notice that a lot of the 3rd qtr releases aren't on the new one, but some are.

I decided to e-mail Falken. Here is the reply. Note that in the original text the should is italicized. So there is hope.

Yes. We should have the new RT-615, size 225/50R15 available at our Dealers around April of this year.

And on another note, you gotta love the support they have for the 16 inch crowd

yeah, qualifies for.....and should rock. too bad about the price though........ $$78>>$46 for 195/60-14 for example.

Any idea when they will stop selling the old Azenis Sports? I want to be sure to get a set before then.

Shipments have ended. Whatever stock is left, man.

Vulcantire still has some 195/60-14........ I wish my car was fixed. People always give me shit when I buy more crap for a broken down car.
$222 to ensure tires for when it's done......perhaps.

edit: done. ordered while still cheap!

some local guys were telling me to chill when we were discussing because they were expecting 5-10%, "not bad"......but this sucks.

guess that is what happens people a company "establishes" their name and expects people to pay more for it now they are known. (like you mentioned earlier)

Conversely, my 17" ones are under other super-sticky options. They curved all the pricing.
