Need some good 16" x tires.

Looking to put some tires on a set of wheels I have. Could use some advice from some autocross guys who also drive on the the street. Looking for low cost as these are spare wheels that I may use to autocross with on occasion. tires sizes would 16" x ? x 225 Front and 16" x ? 235/245. Hoping to spend 150 or less a tire.

I was running Bridgestone Potenza S03's on my car in autocross last year in 205/50/16, and they were AMAZING. I had to spray them down after every run or they'd get too hot and turn to bubble gum, though. But I loved them. They aren't making the S03's anymore, but I've heard the replacements are every bit as good.

I have a bunch of sets of Bridgestone RE-01R's that we use for autocross. I ran 225/50's last season and they were awesome. Never really drove them too much on the street.. I can make a negative recommendation for street tires: Kumho XS. My roomate has some on his Miata and after not many miles they are unbelievably loud, they sound like 44" boggers.
