What is a really "worthwhile" wheel at $200 a pop?

^Looks like they will be delivered tomorrow.

Just gotta decide what tire I'm going to run. I'm thinking I'll run a 215/40/17, I really want to try the Star Specs or Kumho MX or something.

But Discount Tire Direct has RT-615 for $103 a tire + an $80 rebate. $300 for a set of sticky tires is outrageously cheap.

The red car in the pic is on 235/40 RT-615 according to the old for sale ad.

215/40 is too much for an M42 too... might as well fill them up with 235/40 Falken RT615s

Star Specs are worth the difference, but that's quite a deal.

I'm sure they are, but I'll still probably go with the Falkens. I haven't driven on any of the bad boy street tires in that last 10 years, so I'm positive even the RT-615 is going to be a ton of grip to me.

I've still got to get studs/spacers/hub rings/tires, to get these wheels on. Then still need to get my brakes. Driveshaft, flywheel/clutch, etc etc etc

Got the SSRs, luckily was able to find the hub rings. SSR uses their own hub ring system. There is no lip on them and they are held in with a retaining clip.

Ordered a Vorshalg stud kit yesterday. Ordered some 215/40/17 Falken RT-615 this morning.

Now just need to get a pair of 15mm and 20mm spacers. Also need to decide if I want to put the stickers on the wheels. I think I will because they are kinda plain how they are.

I'll order some center caps at some point down the line. I can't stomach another $170 for center caps at the moment.

Yeah, just trying to decide if I want to put the stickers on or not.

They look kinda plain, like Rota's or something without them.
