    Stock weave diff.

So I was replacing one of my basketweaves that was flat today with my spare one and I noticed that my spare was the only one that said BBS & Made in Germany on it along with other writing that the other weaves had except it was buldged out.

I was wondering, how does this compare to the others?
    Any signifigant difference? Value?

    Just curious.
    I'll post pics if needed.

Oh, Yes, you have an uber rare basketweave. People will pay you thousands for it.

Sorry no one got back to you faster on this dire need of information question.

Seriously, it's just a weave - not a historic work of art or cure for cancer.

Maybe just a different casting. Your spare could have been made at a different time from the rest of the wheels (maybe someone replaced the wheels)

Just a different manufacturer. Lemmers made them as well as BBS and I believe one other that isnt coming to my mind right now. Might have been Fundo, but I'm not positive they were casting OE wheels for BMW back then. The BBS's are ever-so-slightly lighter than the other(s) in 14" trim. The weight difference is a good bit more when comparing BBS OE 15" weaves to Lemmers version.

The stamp is in the front of the wheel next to the lugs. Rial, Lemmers, BBS, Fundo where all manufacturers of the wheel. Might be one more that i'm missing.
