what size tires, do they clear the front calipers?

225/45-16 Falkens. They clear e30 m3 calipers fine, unless you have new pads and rotors, then you just have to remove the anti-rattle spring, or add a 3-5mm spacer.

Use e30 m3 susp, its the only proper way to fit 16" style 5's. :)

Yes style 5's from an e39 can be redrilled. Have a set mounted on a e30 now.

If they are off an E39 they wont work.

As previously mentioned, the back of the wheel needs to be flat with no indentations.
