I was initially hesitant when i bought them but for the money I paid they have performed flawlessly. My car is a daily driver so I even got to drive them in the snow and that was an adventure. Tried to go up a hill but couldn't make it.

You must have low expectations for a tire.

These tires suck big fat donkey balls for anything other than being inflated and keeping and the wheels off the ground. They do OK in the rain, but have absolutely no semblance of dry grip.

The cheap cooper 195/65/14s on my car have more grip than the 215/40/17 N3000s on my last car.

            Pathetic.

            They are cheap though......

I'll vouch for Nexens. They are your bang for the buck option. You can't expect phenomenal grip as you would from, say, Dunlops or Bridgestones. However, they seem to do well enough for dry or wet.

Had 205/15s on my E30, they worked well enough for general driving. They don't work in the snow though. I never autocrossed or tracked them, just city and some fun driving.

Near me, alot of the guys from Clubloose use them for drifting esp. the rears, as we get a deal through them fors sponsoring the club. Alot of guys run a nice grippy tire up front, and then the nexens out back, as they are really just good for some smoke...

Hands down one of the absolute worst tires ive ever mounted on a car. I have them on my G35, just terrible. Rubber is super hard, flat spots everywhere, sterring wheel feels it too. No grip, and i disagree about the wet performance.. It sucks.

for drifting, whatever. I can take any old tires and burn them up.

My buddy has them on his S50 E30 with 16x8 Rota wheels. 205/50 front and 225/45 rear. As mentioned they definitely run wide for their size! I've driven the car quite a bit and I think they're a great tire for the price, but that's just me.

Seems like it's a mixed bag with these, there are guys with 400hp rwd cars saying they have no problem with traction....

I think people should start putting their threads in the correct forums.

ironic that this popped back up. Today i noticed two splits in the sidewalls. Tires still have 80% tread. my wife commutes in this car with my son, good thing i caught it. Ive been looking for an excuse to ditch these, finally found one.
