Need advice, what would these look like on the E30?

So I've been trying to figure out a good set of wheels to put on the E30, something old school, somewhat rare, 2 peice if possible, and the perfect offset. I think I may have found something close to that, but need some advice.

    They're SSR formula mesh wheels, 17x7.5" ET19, 17x9 ET39, 4x114.3

There's a little curb damage, but nothing that can't be worked out I think. I know I gotta run adapters, which I'm not crazy about, but if I can the fitment I like, I think I'll get over that. Just hate running crazy big adapters because I'm paranoid of them breaking or damaging other components.

Anywho, here's a few pics, don't pay attention to the car they're on, just look at the wheel!

Yay? Nay? What the hell are you thinking!?

    Sold.......again.

no. i love the look of those wheels, but getting those to work with adapters is going to be lots of work (if you want it to look right). due to needing adapters, these are no where near 'perfect offset'
adapters are typically 25mm or wider, which puts you at et-6 on the front on a 7.5" wide rim and youll need to be slammed, lots of camber, and a stretched tire.

i would advise finding a set with the correct lug pattern first.

Hmmm, I figured getting E30Rob to make me some spacers, I can get them pretty close to looking food. I'm not looking for hella flush, but decent. Late model arches make it hard for flush fitment and good stance, not a fan of the rack look.

I think 17's are too big. But those would be sexi in 16 or 15.

              Motivation.

              And those are just 15's.

Man, I get mixed emotions over 15's. See in those pics, 15's look awesome, but other pics, 15's are too small.

Still up in the air about it, not 100% sold on them yet.

Also, you know the setup on that? tire size? et? etc?

                Sold.......again.
