RED LOCTITE? I used blue and it holds just fine. Isn't red a bit much? especially for a hex key type?Generally you're not supposed to torque them down more than 10ftlbs. If they're the hex key type, use a hex key/allen wrench to install them (you do not need enough torque to warrant a socket or torque wrench, just make them tight with the allen wrench). If they're bulletnosed with no hex fitting, then use the "double nut" method (lock two lug nuts together on the shaft and use one to turn it in, yes homo).
Either way use red loctite to install the studs, and try to use anti-seize on the nuts when installing wheels.Leave a comment:

I just bought a set used w/o instructions on mounting "properly".
Anyone have a quick run down? Lock tight? Any particular prefrence on tool for torquing them down? Yorque specs?What type/size of hex: Driver attachement? Hex "T-style" key?

how much u selling them? And how much use have they recieved? 15x7 with 15mm spacers... Is 90mm too long to poke someone's eye out... Lol...?

I actually have 90mm vorshlag's that I'm pulling off soon if your interested in buying them.
On topic though, I had 75mm studs from vorshlag and loved them. Studs are stronger then bolts so that's another plus.Leave a comment:

Yea, I'm planning to get the TurnerMotorSports studs and they only offer 75mm and 90mm...
Like I mentioned, I'm gonna run the h&r 15mm spacers in the rear and since h&r doesn't have 10mm spacers... I was looking to get the ECS 10.5mm spacers in the front... H&R has the 8mm, but not really sure how that would work...
anyway, they don't have the 80mm so I'm assuming 90mm just to be safe and it'll just stick out a little bit if it's too long I guess... Just gotta get the extended socket wrench out...

From my experience it seems like 75 is good for around 10MM depending on the wheel. For 15MM spacer you would want around 80 or so.Leave a comment:

I plan run:
- 15x7 wheels with 15mm Spacers in the rear
- 15x7 wheels with 10mm Spacers in the front
I'm planning on doing a stud conversion on my E30 cuz the bolts are becoming a pain... or more so a inconvenience...
I was wondering what you guys think of:
- my stance settings regarding 10mm in front and 15mm in rear
- also if anyone knows if 90mm bolts would be long enuff for with my spacers...
- Also people who have done stud conversion and if it works well for you...
