    Fixing curb rash properly...?

How do you properly fix curb rash on wheels?

Do you weld on additional metal, and lathe the wheel rim down, I'm thinking?

What does it typically cost to have a reasonable amount of curb rash properly fixed at a good shop?

I don't want them to just grind the rash down to smooth and call it "Good".....

Grinding and polishing is the typical way.

I just had my Alpinas redone, took all rash out (were a couple good ones) fix a bend and then Powdercoated. They will weld a bead on the rash part and then gring it down and smooth. I used Morini Performance Coatings in Springfield Mass and I would definetly reccomend him. My wheels look completely new.
