i'm pretty sure he got 235/35-17. i saw them recently and remember them being undersized, but can't remember the exact tire size.

i don't have any 17's, so it won't be of much help to you, but i have 245/35-16's on my car now, and used to have 225/40-16, but they are both undersized.. you should get 245/35-17's for these, though. or 225/40-17. no spacers, and probably roll fenders.

Well, that is the real benefit of using e30 stuff I suppose.

Wheel fitment is a lot easier than the mcoupe rear end.

I was going to suggest falken fk452 225/35/17 that discount tire direct had on sale last month but they seem to be out of stock and price back to normal. 225/40/17 is perfect but nobody makes it except nitto555 which is a lot of $ for what you get.

Anyways, wheels look sick, similar to the style 5's I'm building :) Still need to powdercoat 1 center and polish 2 barrels, oh and do all the bolts gloss black
    thanks..

the wheels would look a bit "sunken", but im running 12mm spacers in the rear, and 10mm in front.

im just gonna grab a few different sizes of used tires and spend an afternoon at my friend's wheel shop.

    Nice ride!!

I would try wrapping them in your existing rubber before dumping money into tires that may non fit the rear right though.

I don't know about you, but I cringe everytime I feel my tires hit the outer margin in the back.

My problem is that I have plently of space in the front between the wheel and the strut, but it rubs on the outside. Adding another 15mm would make it worse, then wider tires on top of that would be too much.

I wish there was a set of mudflaps that fit the MT2 kit, just a little flap to keep my skirts clean.

Pics of the car these are going on?

I have the rondell knock off of those at a +35 offset. Mine rubs to the point that a full tank of gas and a passenger will knock the mt2 panels out a bit breaking the little plastic rivets. Somewhat obnoxious, I'm on e36 m3 front, mcoupe rear. I wish they were +40.

    I'm already running stretched 215/40's

yep.. thats why i'm thinking i may get away with a wider tire.

i'll likely be selling a set of staggered DS2s with polished lip and painted centers, which may fit your setup nicely.

Those look hot man! I'll put my recommendation on Eagle f1 asymmetric's. That's what I'm running on my rkII's in the 235/40.
