Just recieved and mounted them today. I was a bit confused on if they were directional or not... but it seems that they aren't. I already love the way its smoothed out my car. I wanna break them in a bit before I wail on them.

Thought I'd update this for y'all, I got a new set of adapters today. Still a 20mm in the front, but I moved it up it a 25mm in the rear, to push the rear wheels out to match the fronts a little more closely. Here's a few pics of them in the process of installation:

Adapter installed before installing the overlap-bolt insert:

      Overlap bolt insert installed:

Rear wheel before, 20mm adapter, wheel at ET15 (note the position of the sidewall to the seam in the floor):

Rear wheel after, 25mm adapter, wheel at ET10:

Totally, no one would notice it but me, and even the people that know I did it wouldn't know the difference, but it's huge for me. And thanks. ;)

I thought it was right on in your pro pix. I guess I thought from your original post that 25mm was what you were running in the rear...unless I missed that updated post. Still diggin it though.

              Baller McStatus.

Nice work on the hunt, the reconditioning, the pursuit of fitment.

A pleasure to view as always. And those valve caps OWN also.

Any ETA on the center caps and reworking they need? I mean, feed us SOMETHIN'!

                  Already did.

Clay, I have something different going on with centercaps, hoping to get something together soon.

                    no chance

on these adapters or ANY adapter out there will make a t-Star E34 M5 wheel work, right? I didn't think so. Sweet achievement nonetheless.

Josh, more details on the adaptors and the insert? They look way more trick than any adaptor I've seen.

If perfect couldn't get anymore perfecter, it just got even more perfecter.

Sorry that was a little over the top, but your car is so clean and I love the wheels.

                        Nice work dude.

                        Sold.......again.

I am not going to lie; you are 100 times cooler with those valve stem caps. I am jealous.

I'll explain it as best as I can. The adapter is held onto the hub/rotor face using the three 10mm allen bolts, and torqued down to spec. The insert is a solid machined piece of aluminum, with a threaded "bolt" machined on the back. The "bolt" threads into the last open 4x100 hole, and on the front, the threaded hole is offset to create the 5th 5x120 hole. Once all 5 wheel bolts are threaded into the adapter face, the insert gains its torque strength into the hub/rotor from the wheel lug bolt, and is absolutely unable to move or come loose.

You can definitely buy 4x100 to 5x120 adapters but to you'd have some real offset issues trying to fit those particular wheels.

Looks good Josh. I just bought some 20mm spacers for my rears on the white car to replace the current 10mm. Just like your situation, most won't notice but me.
