what tire does R3V recommend ?

Getting some new tires on a e30 I just got, first one.

It currently has hancook ventujs rs2 or some name like that, any others you guys would suggest?

Want same, if not grippier tires. Have some money to splurge. Suggest away! Along with a supportive argument for your choice.

stock 14" wheels? id think general census would agree with falken ziex 912s. I have them on my car and they are the best for the price.

they ride better than the perilli p6's that came with the car

I can tell you that the Federals 595s SUCK, the Nexxen 3000 is HUGE, the ES100 is an absolute turd everywhere and my favorite cheap tire is still the General Exclaim UHPs.

Might help if you shared some info on what you are looking for..."best" is about as vague as possible.

Possibly looking at some bf goodrich g force super sports for about $137 a piece, what do you guys have to say about those?

Why 205/55, 205/50 is closer to stock overall size according to TireRack?

I got falken ZE 912's on mine in 205 45 r16. Love em. They have about 2k miles and still perform great for an all season tire. My e30 has a very difficult time breaking the wheels free.

                    please ignore the fender gap

                    and the ghetto muffler

You need 205/50r16 in dunlop z1 star spec. Very sticky, yet still good in the rain.

Don't get 55's again, or you will have no fenders left!

I'm running 205/50 Yokohama S drives on my LM reps and they're a nice tire for the price. I had these on my staggered keskin's too and loved them. Soft tire and good in the rain.

                            Sold.......again.
