From what I have seen dry rotting happens mostly on the sidewall due to the sidewall deflection. It would be strange for sidewalls to be in that nice of condition and have the corner of the tire dry rot.
There is some dry rot down deep in the tread. However the edges are from beinh driven hard. How much life is left? Hard to say... however that tire hasn't been made new in quite some years. If it has a lot of heat cycles and rubber is starting to break down there will probably not be full grip left in them.
I picked these up on the classifieds and they are on the way to me. The seller assured me they were not dry rotted but that picture and the age of the model got me thinking. I might have to order some new tires to be on the safe side but I'll wait to see them in person first.
