    quick tire question.

just picked up some basketweaves from this guy at a shop i know. he mounted 195/70s on two of them. I decided to put them in the front but it raised my front enough to piss me off lol. im dropped on H&R race springs so if i put the two of those in the rear will i experience any troubles? Thanks and Godbless.

195/70 is a HUGE sidewall for that wheel, I'm pretty sure stock size is 195/60. Get some smaller tires on that shit.

It is just going to look stupid. Or maybe rub, might be narrow enough to make it. I dont know but other than that no real porblems.

The late model e30s were 195/65 stock and the earlier ones are 195/60 so both parties are right.

So if the OPs stock tires were 195/65 and he now has 195/70, the speedo will be off by aprx 3.2% which will mean that when your speedo says 60, you are actually going 61.9mph. I have no idea if you would rub but if you don't rub on the front w/ those tires, I doubt you will rub in the rear.
