    Will 16x8.5" et24 fit with 5-lug suspension on a regular E30?

Or will they kill the arches / fenders?

It'll fit, depending on which 5 lug and what size tires you plan on running.

exactly this. if you have the e36 setup, then yes, instant fender death unless you are running stupidly small tires or are still at stock ride height.

        E30 M3 5-lug.

        What size tires should I use? 225 45 16?

And, I want to lower the car on H&R Race.

You'll have to modify the fenders either way even with a 225, the question here is do i want to run a proper size tire or do i want a little stretch. Might as well cut the lip right out and run a 245. I personally wouldnt do it any other way on an 8.5

I think 225/45 might fit. A 215/45 just clears my rolled fenders with 16x8 et 24 on e36 5 lug.
