Tricks to get seized wheel off?

A severe mallet beating didn't do it. Any tricks you guys have been successful with?

Crawl under car. Have assistant brace front of wheel (so it does not fall on face) kick wheel/tire from behind with flat feet.

Is the car on a hoist? makes it much easier.

I usualy have the car up half way, put one lug in a few turns, and kick it from the back.

Or if its a POS I use a sledge, tryin not to hit the rim.

Or if its a new car and nicer rims, I get my pry bar and find a way to pry it off.

Tryed that one. Even rolled the car around a bit. No dice.

I'll get to kicking this weekend.

sometimes kicking wont do it. Jack it up, hold a piece of 2x4 across the back of the wheel and beat the shit out of it with a sledge. Dont be afraid, you wont damge anything as long as you use the wood. be sure to put one lug bolt in a few threads so the wheel doesnt go flying when it does come loose.
