    Which bbs wheels are these?

Friend is selling me these wheels and I just test fit one. They say 15x?? ET 25. I don't think they are rs because they don't have that nice polished stepped lip I always see on others cars. Here are a few pictures from tonight taken with my cell phone so sorry for the low quality.

They are 3 piece and i wanted to take them apart to polish the lips and powder coat the centersgold again

They are BBS RS's, specifically RS-001's in 15x7 ET25. They don't have polished lips because they either didn't have them to begin with (they were available with a brushed matte finish as well) or they just haven't been polished in a long time; twenty years of oxidation is a bitch...

Nah man you don't want those! They are the crappiest wheels ever!! But I will do you the favor of taking them off your hands!! ;)

Rainier already gave you the specs and if you got a good deal on them, I hate you even more!! :) Congrats on the pickup!

As for the stepped lips, RSs never came w/ a wide stepped lip stock (TMK) and the ones you've seen are aftermarket lips people use to make the wheels wider and look friggin hot! Which you should consider if you have the funds and want to dismantle them anyway!

thanks guys, not sure if these are even considered good since they are only 15's, i always see people with 16s/17s but it made sense to me to stick with 15 to have less rotational mass.

im paying 400 dollars for all4 with center caps is that a decent deal?

i dont think ill have enough money for those nicer stepped lips so i think i will just polish out these lips. do you think they will look good with the lips that are on them now?

with ET25 they appear to stick quite a bit out and the lips are almost flush if not sticking out slightly more than the fender so which tires would you recomend for these wheels?

E30s and 15" RSs are like PB&J man! And yeah $400 is cheap; Usually you would see wheels in this condition for like $900-$1k easily!

$400 bucks is a steal, I mean a great deal :). Your friend did you good. A set will go from $700 to over $1000 depending on condition. I found three rims and have been looking for the forth for about a month now. The closest I have come was a guy that wanted $350 for one rim. It was reconditioned so his price was about right. Here is a picture of what I did with one of mine. I used Flitz and a rag for about a half an hour and the one wheel cleaned up pretty nice.

Have some fun with an aluminum polish and if you want to get serious you can get some polishing compound and power tools and get the mirror finish.

              Cheers,
