front hub replacement question need help asap

Can i use a cotter pin on the old nut when i reinstall or do i have to by the new one. And if i carefully remove dust cap can i re use it ??

Always best to use a new nut and cap.

If you must, sure, if you don't trash it you could reuse them both. The nut likely won't line up the same when retorqued, you just use a flat screwdriver and a hammer to bend a tab into the slot on the stub axle.

No, you just bend the lip in wherever it lines up. What I was saying is don't just tighten it until it lines up, actually torque it to spec.

Pretty sure it's 32mm, unless it's an ix, then they are 36mm.

Just confirmed on my spare parts. Front is 36mm and rears are 30mm.

I just have a 36mm Impact socket and it fits fine. You're using a deep well socket, correct?
