you do realize that "205" determines how wide the tire is right??

what do you mean it will slow the car down?

Sorry I couldn't be of any more help.

Might sonud like a joke but that's actually what I did with my car, and after I was done I had no rubbing issues. Be careful though because you can make small dents appear on the outside, I was lucky enough to have someone experienced do this for me and my paint/fender suffered no visible damage on the outside.

That sounds like an idea. I will try that.

You know, a 205/45/16 will fit on a 16x7 wheel perfectly...

The car is sitting on H&R E30 M3 springs and HD shocks. What are my options of fixing the rubbing problem, as it is very irritating. I talked to Tony and we thought that have a 195/45 on the rear would give the wheels more of an angle and they would not rub. Now before I go on and purchase me some new tires, I would like to know the general concesus of the E30 group here.

I'm sure Tony knows what he's talking about. 195/45 on a 9 inch wheel sounds like a great idea.

Any other wisdom that would actually help me solve the problem other than changing my wheels?
