    will it fit? 225/65/17

quick question here.. will 225/65/17 tyres clear the rear arches on my facelift E30? if so what sort of offset of wheel would i be looking at to get them to clear the arches?

have found some 225/65/17 tarmac rally tyres so im thinking of picking up a pair of them for the rear of my E30 for drag racing and whatever.. if they will fit..

    Currently E30-less

not even a little bit. Of course, you could always raise the car 3 or 4 inches to make those fit...

a 225/40 17 may fit depending on the offset of your rims

yea that side wall is crazy tall, are these off a small SUV?

you look lowered, this will never work. I tried to fit 225 55 15's on a low off set 8inch wheel and barely fit them in. That is way smaller then what you are considering

no chance in hell unless you do some ridiculous body/fender modifications... or lift your e30.

dont want to jack it up just know where some used rally tyres are but the only sizes are 17 or 18 inch. probably from a subaru or evo or something..
