I still have the OEM wheels on my cabrio. I think the OEM size tires are 195/65? Should I get the same size for winter tires or 185/65?

I'd go 185/70. Same diameter as stock, narrower to cut through snow/ice. I'm sorry you are going to have to subject that car through watertown's harsh winters. A suggestion: get a snowmobile. Very common means of transportation up there.
