    Falken ZE 912

I am looking to get a new set of tires. I need all season tires. I found a good deal on a set of Falken ZE-912s. Anyone have any experience with them?

They seem to work fine for me; I don't have experience with many all seasons though. When it's dry they can put power down from an s50, when it's when I can spin them fairly easily which is expected. No hydroplaining yet in Seattle rain.

Have you ever driven in snow with them?

They are a good balanced tire from my experience.
Haven't hydro'd yet with them in the rain.
        Stick better when warmed up.
Can spin them when you feel like it.
        A bit soft.

I'm no tire expert, but I dig 'em.

Nope and I probably won't because I don't want to get chemicals on my new suspension parts, I also have a pretty stiff suspension which would probably hurt my snow performance.

Thank you! I searched for ZE 912 not ziex 912. Probably why i didn't see that

Yeah...as I posted in that thread, do not use them in the snow, especially on a RWD car.

I've got 912's on my AWD Talon. Good tires. Very impressive (for an all season) lateral grip and decent transitional responses. Competent in the rain, no hydroplaning unless it's really deep water. I have RT-615's on different wheels for the same car, far better as summer and autocross tires. They heat up quickly.

But stay the hell away from 912's if you're intending to use them in the snow. Completely and utterly useless, even when at full tread depth.

Useless to the point that when it does snow around here - Admittedly not that often - I prefer the e30 on half-dead ZE-512's.

I've got some for the DD. They are great tires for the price point.

got them on my girls e30. 225/50 on ronal LSs. no complaints, the sidewalls are not the stiffest ever, though.
