    Well, I was hoping I would be able to get the tires mounted today but I couldn't. I was taking the tape off of the 4th wheel, the last inch of tape to go this happened:




    So instead of driving to butler tire I had to sand down and repaint that section.

    But I'm definitely happy with the result.

      Those are pretty, better than I thought they would look. When will they be mounted?

          as you found out, its best to remove masking tape when the paint is still semi-wet (when possible)

          the wheels look really nice though!

              If the paint is already coming off that easily, how well do you think the rest will hold up??

                i've never successfully done any DIY paint job (wheels, trim, body paint, spoilers, etc) which holds as fast (hardness and how well it resists chipping) as OEM. its the downside to not getting the wheels done professionally. tough to replicate a pro job in that sense.

                  You could bake them while they're curing, that's what I did with my valve cover.
