I'm looking to get new wheels and tires for my (new) 1987 S52. I'm getting different answers from dealers locally and on websites regarding the offsets. Some say 20-29 will only fit, some say 38-40 will fit. What say you guys? Thanks.

offset is related to width. a 17x6 et40 would fit just fine, but a 17x7.5 et40 would need a 15-20mm spacer to clear the strut. :)
Take a look around here and see what other people are running. My track wheels are 15x8 et20 and fit just about perfect for me.Last edited by 2002maniac; 01-04-2011, 09:37 AM.

Check this thread out...there's many combinations that can and won't work but I'm sure it has all been covered before in here.
