    Stock weaves on Spacers.... yes/no?

    Ok, so heres the idea.

    Or the thinking anyway.

How would a late model, (lower rear arches) look with stock 14 inch weaves look pushed out on some spacers?

I really dont want new wheels right now cause I just bought brand new tires for my weavies. I don't see this a lot on here, and just wonder is there a reason, other than it not being especially "baller"?

I think it might look alright. Your thoughts please? Like what size spacers. Im thinking 10mm in rear and 12mm on the fronts.

EDIT: Im running HR/Bilstein Sports currently. Plan on some e90 drop hats soon.

And I know this is the wrong forum, but hey.... pretend I'm a noob. (but dont tow me ok??? mods)

    Thanks!!

I think it would look great. I'd do like 10-15mm front and 20mm rear.

I think the main reason people don't do it is because they save money from spacers and go for new wheels. Kamotors had spaced bcaps. I don't see why weaves wouldn't look good.

well at least it will fill the offset gap, maybe in combo with some 205/60's. Its crossed my mind but didn't want to spend money on studs and spacers till I get some real wheels.

Actually the new tires are 205/60/14 Sumimotos.

20mm in rear, Im kind of afraid Ill rub.

Can use the spacers later, with other wheels and get all ballerized...yes?

I'm planning to do the same thing, Kamotors is the best example, 20mm spacers all around. The same would work for the basket weaves.

                Kamotor's Car w/spaced b-caps:

I'm looking at buying the 15 or 17.5mm spacers, still haven't decided, from e30Rob in this thread. Then I later plan to find some Style 5s (et23) fill and re-drill them to 4x100 and then machine down the spacers to about 10mm.

I had 15mm spacers in the rear with weaves and 205/60's. It held me over for a while until I got new wheels. I just sold the spacers later for the same price I bought them for.

looks good, definitely an option. I don't plan on buying wheels for both of my cars, so this might be the catch seeing how I have a new set of 205's on bottles myself. I'll swap the tires onto my weaves and sell the bottles to a ricer :)

I'm running Billy Sports, H&R Sports, e90 spring hats, and 20mm H&R Spacers front and rear. Had to roll all four fenders to avoid rubbing.

Have any different angles? I'm curious to how much I would have to roll my fenders if I go this route.

Just get 15mm and don't roll.

If your car is lowered, you'll need to roll with 20mm spacers.

I'm lowered on billy/IE3s with 15x7 weaves at et16 front / et11 rear (with spacers) and I have no rubbing at all. 195/60/15s
