    busting belts

    so I have a lowered 91 318ic. dropped with h&R'S and billies.
I did not do anything else to the back end. the front im running offsets
but the back end, in the past year is eating up tires. have used bridgestones and yokohammas
does not matter which side, the rear tires bust belts long before the tread is an issue
of course , "yes dear, I dont drive hard"
anyone else having these issues or am I just running the wrong kind of tires for a lowered 318
    ( lowered 1.75 in rear)

p.s thank god for ejeights skid plate under the old m42 oil pan

also, none of them are any fun on the ice...well kind of fun, if I had time to play, but not when your trying to get to work on time and a coffee cup between your legs...pucker action

Did you get a rear camber kit? When you lower it, the negative camber will increase.

yes it was obvious how the cambr changed, and no I have not put a kit on ...yet....but I did not think I would eat tires that fast

forgot to add, 2 miles of gravel road a day, 17 miles street

i've had lowered e30s, and never had excessive camber wear issues. some wear, but not killing belts before the tire was used up. you may have worn suspension bushings causing excessive toe (the real tire killer)
