    what spring and will it fit: 17x8 et20 w/ e36 5lug

I have collected all the parts for the 5-lug except for springs. Spring selection could help with this particular question as well. So far e36m3 front e36 318ti rear,

I found a set of 17x8 rims, with an offset of et20.
I know for the most part that i may have to pull the rear fenders and run stretched/skinny tires (suggestion of size would be nice.)

im worried about clearence of the rim and the spring in the front. I also dont want to have to pull the fenders too much, so height could help.

    Please help!

Good luck. I've got 17x8 et38 with 235/40 on an early car, rolled fenders, -3.5f, -2.5r camber, coil overs all the way down in the rear on e36 5-lug. I rub the rear on larger bumps. I also have 16x8 et23 with 195/55, and they rub a bit too.

You might be able to do a 205/40 and not have to pull fenders, but idk.

          Good luck.
