              if the tire depresses like on that CAT, won't that decrease ground clearence and defeat the purpose of having equipment that can get around on surfaces like that? Regardless, cool concept.

                i think the purpose of that picture is to show that the tweel can support massive vehicles...translating to ease of use on pass vehicles.
