Is there much difference in ride quality between 16&17" wheels?

I'm deciding between Kopi Alpina reps (17x7.5) and ESM-02's (16x7.5). Will there be much of a difference in ride quality? I really love the Kopi's but I'm scared how the car will drive, especially coming from the 14" bottlecaps!

You'll notice a difference from the 14s, but the difference from 16 and 17 is very little.

I'd say that tire selection plays a bigger part in ride comfort than the wheel size. If you like the Kopis more, get those and get a tire with a softer sidewall and/or a softer compound.

17's tend to tramline more, and you'll notice the ride a bit more harsh,
16's will give a better ride quality with 205/50/16's
