Opinion of Alurad RH AD Cuprad Wheels

So whats your guys opinion on these Alurad wheels? They are the first set in the link RH AD Cuprad. They would be on my 86 Cabrio. Do you think there would be a rubbing problem w/205-45-16 tires? I have Cabrio Spec H&R sport springs.

EDIT: I am not buying from this add. A local guy has a set, but I have not seen them run on an e30 before. They are ET 35 offset.

You should have pulled the trigger, that's how you miss the deal of a life time (the ad is from March 2004). But don't worry, the ET is off, at a minimum you'll have to run 15 mm spacers if they fit at all. Looks like they are for a e36 but that would make them 5 lug.

They look good on vdubs. Not so much on e30s

None of those would look good on an e30. OP - stick to the tried and true - it will sever you well if you don't have an eye for rims.

I quoted that add because it has pictures. Not because I am going to buy from them. That add was three year before I even owned my first e30. Anyway, I am looking at a set this weekend at 4x100. I guess I will just have to bolt up the ET35 and see what clearance issues I am looking at. I could see having to use spacers, but I am not that interested in fender rolling.
Also, does fender rolling trash the paint on the fender? It seems like you would need some substantial bodywork after an event like that.

If I went stuck on an Island where all e30 parts cost TWICE the USA price I would order a new set of any of the mainstream favorites. However I am on an island and need new tires and wheels.
What kind of spacers? New lugs to I assume? They are ET35, the ones I am looking at getting. Would they really have to be spaced out that much?

                Thanks

I have seen these work well on a e30.

N2MYE30 I owe you a beer if you are ever on Oahu (they are about $10 a bottle, haha). But seriously, thanks for the pictures. Thats just what I wanted to see is how they look.

I was there about 6 years ago and I have missed it ever since...minus the cost of most things. My buddy was in the coast guard so that helped the sting of my wallet. Cheers!

I finally got time to get some pictures of these mounted on my ride. Running 12mm spacers.

The deep-dish look is, in my opinion, awesome on an e30. If I had ever seen these on a cabrio before I should not have waited so long before picking mine up.
