    Got a set of tires too? Without the tires they're worthless.

      They're worth something to somebody who wants to keep a car original. The tires are now available though vintage tire vendors. Coker sells Michelin TRX tires in various sizes. You probably don't want to know how much they cost. They make Hoosier R-comps look cheap.

          After having 2 different e24s I've found that the best use for TRX wheels is to hang them on the wall and use them to wrap your garden hose around. The metric tire were something in the 80's but now just old tech.

            Ahh thanks. I have a set of tires and they're shot. Never fear though, I'm going to sell the wheels with the rest of the parts that I have for a conversion I'm working on(euro bumpers, full valance, overfenders, 3.07S big diff, all but the cluster in german for the interior, etc).

            All a person would need to build a stateside 535iA, given they bought the parts I've scavenged so far would be;

            euro grilles
            euro headlights
            the rear fog wires and bulbs (still available new for $10)
            euro cluster in km/h
            a CR dogleg trans
            10:1 engine with the motronic brainbox
            euro e28 rear apron (different)
            euro 70gal gas tank.

            I might just build a 535iA quite honestly, and drop a m30b35 head on it. would look almost identical to this, but completely euro-ized if I got the stuff mentioned above. http://bringatrailer.com/2009/06/15/...1985-bmw-535i/ I don't want to sell the e30 but if I do I can build a real monster! :D

            So, do I sell the e28 goodies or do I sell the e30?
            Jah bless! :pimp:
