Sounds like you were not really after functional then

1+ buy some proper K1's if you want to track or search for some nice borbet type T they are wide.

If you want good performance you need to run 15" wheels period. Everything larger is more expensive, heavier, and a compromise. Buy the wheels you like to look at and good street tires, then pick up a set of 15x8 track wheels and tires.
