    Lugbolt and threads...

I didn't know where to post this, but the threads that the lug bolts go into is pretty much stripped even though my lug bolts can still thread into it (weird, I know).

So my problem is that I want to put my 90mm studs into the hub, but the threads are stripped... what are my options?

don't mess around, get new hubs. the last thing you want is a wheel coming off. the front hubs are easy as pie to change. rears are a little more difficult but doable. you can expect to pay $100/each corner for parts.

sorry I'm a noob w/ e30s and still getting used to understanding them but,

is the bearing the same as the hub? or is the hub a different part of the rotor. I tried taking out the hex bolt on the hub but it won't budge... any suggestions?

the front hubs on the e30s are part of the bearing assembly (1 piece). the rear are separate, but i dont know how possible it is to remove them with the bearing coming apart if they are old. the axle nut has to come off to get any of the hubs off.

The Bentley manual for e30s is the best resource for repairing your e30. if you dont have one, i recommend getting one!
