    BBS RS - Taking apart

Feeling a bit stupid for asking - but hey can't go wrong. I thought I had a set off BBS RMs - but as we were taking them apart I noticed they were three peice and had RS stamped on them. *duh*.

But - I can't separate the spoke bit from the Rim bit (see pics) Which way does it come out - how hard should I whack it - my mate and I hit it pretty hard from both directions and it only seemed to move a little bit.

    (excuse my mate for modelling)

    Pic 1 - BBS RS.. I think

Pic 2 - I'm sure that spoke bit comes out of the rim - it VERY much looks like two peices joined together.

Pic 3 - hit the center down? Or up (out of the picture). It seems to have moved a bit.

And how do I seal it all again. I assume the seals will all be stuffed after this.

Heat and a rubber mallet. Some people put them in the oven.

        Sold it.

Any update on the re-assembly of these rims? Did you get them apart? Did you have to buy new hardware to re-assemble, or were you able to use the old bolts?? I am looking to clean up some 3-piece rims, however, I am wary of completely disassembling them...
